Welcome to Missonal Prayer

Welcome to Missional Prayer! This subject is designed to help you to deeply understand the importance of praying for others, particularly our mission partners, in light of God's global gospel plan. You will be equipped to pray big and small prayers, and to pray deeply for the Christian lives of your mission partners.

This subject was developed in partnership by the Church Missionary Society (CMS) Victoria and Ridley College.

Presenter

Peter Adam

Peter served as Vicar of St Jude’s Carlton for twenty years and was Principal of Ridley College from 2002-2012. He is now Theologian in Residence, and Vicar Emeritus of St Jude’s Carlton. He continues his ministry of preaching, writing, speaking, mentoring, and training others in ministry, including regular in-service Preaching Training Workshops and Prayer Training Workshops for ministers. Peter is a Vice-President of the Church Missionary Society (CMS) Australia, and of the Australian Fellowship of Evangelical Students (AFES). He was a founding member of The Gospel Coalition Australia and continues to serve as a Non-Executive Director. He is also a Canon Emeritus of St Paul’s Cathedral Melbourne. He is currently the President of The New Cranmer Society in Melbourne.
